As the result of new EU safety regulations, a person escape tunnel was added to the Schürzeberg Tunnel Oberrieden in 2012. Steel fibre spray concrete in wet spray process. The steel fibres were seamlessly integrated at the TB factory using a conveyor belt, thus achieving a homogeneous distribution of the steel fibres in the concrete.
