In total, the plant will have a capacity of 14.84 megawatts peak and thus cover the annual electricity consumption of 4,400 households. CO2 emissions will be reduced by around 8,000 tons. The total area is 13.3 hectares.

The largest area photovoltaic plant in Austria
The photovoltaic plant with a total capacity of 11.4 megawatts
peak (MWp) is being built on OMV's own total area of 13.3 hectares. The 34,600 PV modules will generate 10.96 gigawatt hours (GWh) of solar power in an east-west orientation, which is roughly equivalent to the annual electricity consumption of 3,400 households and saves the equivalent of around 8,000 tons of CO2.
In this way, KrampeHarex and all partners involved are making a strong contribution to achieving the EU's climate targets and at the same time providing an important regional economic stimulus. In 2030, electricity generation in Austria is to be covered by 100 percent renewable energies on balance.
